Happy New Year

Kelsey's first New Year's was rung in her festive dress. Kelsey met and partied with Ben and James, so fun having all the babies and her cousins all together. Joe and Dana hosted is all, even 2 days after her surgery. We had to leave the festivities early because Kelsey had a fever from her shots a few days ago but we got to see the ball drop from home. Looking forward to a happy and healthy 2017.

Surprise visit from Santa

We had a fun time at Grandma and Grandpa's house with the Montiero and Hendershot families. We made homemade clay ornaments under Tracys supervision and a special visit from Santa Paul but the big surprise of the night was Aunt Dana getting an emergency surgery to remove her appendix but thankfully she is feeling much better. Always a night to remember at the LaSalvias.

Christmas Vacation

We had a busy week, starting with cosmic  bowling with the McGowans,  though we have to give credit - Mat was impressive and finally beat Kristen in one game. Then we had a fun visit with Aunt Janis and Uncle Tom and later with Rich and Sam. The next day we went down to EB for Grandma's birthday. Kelsey made herself know at Frescos and then we got to see Aunt Kim's new house.

Two Months

Kelsey is 2 months old on Christmas day. She weighs 13.9 lbs and is 22.5 inches. She did good getting her first round of shots and Daddy was a big boy with all the needles lol. We can't believe Kelsey is already growing so much, we are so in love.

Kelsey First Christmas

Kelsey's first Christmas was a lot of fun. She started the day on her new chair surrounded by all her presents with a big smile. She was so lucky to get such great gifts from Santa and her loving family.  Mat and I survived hosting our first big holiday in our new house hosting the McGowans, Hoffarts and Tortoras. everyone liked the meal Kristen cooked, we gave Mat the day off from cooking for once lol.

Christmas Eve

Dana and Joe hosted Christmas Eve which started off with Kelsey sleeping through church at Joyful Noise and Ryan also joining in nap time. We had an awesome dinner including our favorite lobster bisque soup and sangria. Kelsey had an awesome time with her cousins and funny enough all gifted the same picture of them. It was truly a memorable night and we are so blessed to have such a loving family.

Visiting Santa

Kelsey was wide awake and smiling for her first visit with Santa today. I guess it's as her outfit suggests "Santa's Favorite" and we finally got a new family photo.

Kelsey First Cookie Day

The girls outdid themselves this cookie day. Kelsey was lucky enough for her Grand Aunt Janet to get her a personalized outfit to signify her first time at our annual event and her Cioci Joanne made her an apron and oven mitts so she would fit right in with the girls. And, we also managed to squeeze in making 6 different types of cookies. Yum!

Of course we picked the coldest day of the year so far to go and get our tree. Kelsey picked out a 6 ft Douglas tree.  We can't wait to bring it home an decorative.

Gingerbread Houses

Had a fun visit today to see the Gingerbread Houses Expo at the abrodeum in Morristown. Had a great time with Grandma LaSalvia!

12.4 it's starting to look like Christmas

Today we started decorating for Kelsey first Christmas. This is also the first year in a house so we got the fun experience of putting up the lights for the first time, complete with Mats favorite toy solider teddy bear lawn ornament. Kelsey helped by taking a nice long nap while Mommy and Daddy did the lights  :)

12.5 Like mother like daughter

Kelsey got to model in one of her mom's baby outfits that Grandma McGowan was lucky enough to save. Kelsey wasn't really cooperating for these pics but she looked super cute in her dress and bonnet.

Photo Shoot

Kelsey had her first photo shoot. It started off a bit rocky with her screaming in her present outfit, I don't think she was feeling the tutu but looked super adorable. Then we took some pictures on her belly for her birth announcement and she looked like a peaceful sleeping angel. We can't wait to share all the photos in our greeting cards this holiday!
